Company

Viagogo is the world’s largest ticket market place, giving fans access to the best events in sports and live entertainment through a state-of-the-art online ticketing platform. We provide choice, convenience and consumer protection, so that people can buy and sell tickets for live events all over the world with confidence. We are the market leader in our sector and one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in the world, offering our service to customers in nearly 60 countries.

Due to our extremely busy summer schedule we’re looking to recruit ambitious, intelligent, and talented people to help manage our Last Minute Sales (“LMS”) business, a service extending the sales window by allowing orders to be picked-up at a ticket collection point on event day when there’s insufficient time to ship the tickets.

The LMS Operations intern will be responsible for supporting our day to day LMS operations across the UK. You will be expected to take full responsibility for ticket collections and oversee logistics for a large variety of events across the country (Cricket World Cup, Festivals, Spice Girls, Autumn Internationals… and many more). Delivering a first-class support to ticket buyers and sellers on location at events.

This is a unique opportunity for a graduate to gain a ton of real working experience with a high growth multinational internet company with a start-up ethos. We won’t ask you to make coffee or scan papers…we will expect you to learn quickly on the job, roll up your sleeves and take responsibility.

You’ll be working alongside a fun and energetic team of full time and temp staff in our London office (travel across the UK will be required). The position has flexible hours, due to the nature of the events industry you will be required to work evenings and weekends at times which will be discussed in advance. You should be available full time from end of May to October, part-time training will start before that but the exact schedule is open for discussion.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the execution of onsite ticket collections
  • Operations Execution – Execute LMS operations by planning the logistics of receiving, packing and distributing tickets
  • People Management – support the management of a team of part time workers
  • Troubleshooting – Problem solve issues that arise with LMS sales and operating collection points
  • Account Management and Customer Service Support – Provide in person and online customer support to both buyers and sellers

Skills and Attributes:

  • Organized and reliable with attention to detail
  • Thrive when under pressure and multi-tasking
  • A true optimist that has a bias for action and problem solving
  • “Team player” is your middle name
  • Committed to working in a customer facing role; motivated by providing great service
  • Outstanding written and oral communication
  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
